The Bard’s Kiss

🙂 click here to listen along 🙂

When thou art near thou spark in me desire
A primal urge to has’t our bodies meet
And maketh now a lengthy moment sweet
Let us join lips, setteth ourselves on fire

Alloweth us draw near and close the space
I long to hold thy silken body tight
And hug ’til day turns into starry night
Our bodies melted in a snug embrace

Alloweth that I taste thy lovely lips
And with mine knowing hands caress thy hair
Or stroke thy graceful back and comely hips

And after I’ve explored thy gorgeous mouth
Let’s pause to take a breath and lock our eyes
And start a slow unzipping in the South

~ Paul Raworth Bennett

Note: this is an Italian-style sonnet written in “Shakespeare-ish”.
